About A Longer Table (formerly The Patachou Foundation)
The Patachou Foundation began in 2013 to fight childhood hunger in Indianapolis by serving scratch-made, nutritious meals to food-insecure children. The organization has since rebranded to A Longer Table and expanded its mission beyond meal service.
Today, A Longer Table operates Next Course Cafeterias in partner schools and runs the Food Fellowship program, a paid workforce development initiative that trains high school students in culinary arts, urban farming, and hospitality. Students earn ServSafe certification, college credits, and hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.
In Indianapolis, 1 in 5 kids faces food insecurity. School meals are often the only consistent source of nourishment for many children.
"The Patachou Foundation is excited to partner with SupplyKick and their energetic team. Each time SupplyKick serves at Indianapolis Public School 14, they will not only provide a wholesome, scratch-made meal for over 50 kids, but will also be able to create relationships that will make a life-long impact."
— Matthew Feltrop, then-Executive Director of The Patachou Foundation
Continued Partnership
A corporate partner spotlight from A Longer Table confirmed that SupplyKick volunteers continued serving meals on a bi-weekly basis following the initial donation. The spotlight featured SupplyKick's Director of Culture and Talent discussing how employees nominated the foundation and made both financial and time commitments to the partnership.
